Description : The nuclear pore complex is a massive structure that extends across the nuclear envelope, forming a gateway that regulates the flow of macromolecules between the nucleus and the cytoplasm. Nucleoporins are the main components of the nuclear pore complex in eukaryotic cells. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the FG-repeat containing nucleoporins and is localized to the nuclear pore central plug. This protein associates with the importin alpha/beta complex which is involved in the import of proteins containing nuclear localization signals. Multiple transcript variants of this gene encode a single protein isoform.
Form : Sterile Filtered clear solution. NUP62 is supplied in 20mM HEPES buffer pH-7.6, 250mM NaCl and 20% glycerol.
Purity : Greater than 80% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Applications : Western blot with:a) Polyclonal anti-Nup62 antibodies.b) Monoclonal anti-hexa-His-tag antibody.
Usage : The products are furnished for LABORATORY RESEARCH USE ONLY. The product may not be used as drugs, agricultural or pesticidal products, food additives or household chemicals.
Stability : Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Concentration : 0.5-1.0 µg/ml (depending on the type of ELISA plate and coating buffer). Suitable for labeling of functional groups.
