Description : NRAS proteins aremembers of the superfamily of small GTPbinding proteins that function asmolecular switches controlling a variety of signalling and transportpathways. NRAS is one of the classic humanRas proteins (H-, N-, K-Ras4A, and K-Ras4B). NRASdeltaC comprises the first 167 residues of Ras that are sufficient forbinding guanine nucleotides and hydrolysis of GTP, but lacks the C-terminalCaaX motif necessary for membrane localization of Ras. Protein preparation is100% GDP-loaded, measured by HPLC.
Form : Liquid solution in64 mM Tris-HCl Buffer, pH 7.2, + 10 Mm MgCl2 + 5 mM DTE.
Purity : > 95%as determined by SDS-PAGE analysis
Applications : In vitro transcriptionassays; DNA-protein interaction assays; Protein-protein interaction assays.
storage : Store at-80°C. Stablefor 1 year. For long term storage, aliquot and freeze at -80°C. Avoidrepeated freeze-thaw cycles.
OfficialSymbol : NRAS
