• Molecular Mass: The recombinant human MMP12 (pro form) comprises 465 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 53.8 kDa. Probably as a result of autocatalysis, rhMMP12 migrates as an 28 kDa bnd in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, corresponding to the active catalytic domain. The 54 kDa pro form is also seen in the SDS-PAGE.
