Species : Human
Source : E.coli
Tag : His
Description : Importins are involved in nuclear import and belong to a seperate class of Ran-GTP binding proteins. Importin α itself does not interact with the nuclear pore complex but functions as an adaptor that binds importin β. It is required to mediate binding of substrates to their receptors. Importin α binds directly to the nuclear localization signal of substrates.MW = 57.86 kDa.
Purity : > 95% by SDS-PAGE.
Form : Liquid. Supplied in 50 mM Tris-HCl pH 7.5, and 2 mM DTE.
Storage : Quality guaranteed for 12 months. Store at -80°C.Avoid freeze / thaw cycles.
Usage : For in vitro use only.
