• Description: High mobility group protein B2, also known as HMGB2, is a member of the non-histone chromosomal high-mobility group protein family. High mobility group protein B2 is expressed as 25 kDa containing 209 amino acid residues. The function of High mobility group protein B2 is involved in transcription, chromatin remodeling and V(D)J recombination. In vitro studies have demonstrated that this protein is able to efficiently bend DNA and form DNA circles.
