Cat. No. : FGF10-1387H
Description : FGF10, also known asfibroblast growth factor 10, exhibits mitogenic activity for keratinizingepidermal cells, but essentially no activity for fibroblasts, which issimilar to the biological activity of FGF7. Studies of the mouse homolog ofsuggested that this gene is required for embryonic epidermal morphogenesisincluding brain development, lung morphogenesis, and initiation of lim budformation. FGF10 is also implicated to be a primary factor in the process ofwound healing.
