• Description: Recombinant Human XEDAR containing the signal peptide from human CD33 joined with the extracellular domain of human XEDAR was fused to the Fc region of human IgG1 via a linker peptide. XEDAR (X-linked Ectodysplasin A2 Receptor) is a recently isolated member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor family that is highly expressed during embryonic development and induces apoptosis. XEDAR is a receptor for Ectodysplasin-A2 (EDA-A2) which may be a promising agent for the gene therapy of osteosarcoma.
