• Description: DUSP21(Dual specificity protein phosphatase 21) belongsto the protein-tyrosine phosphatase family. Thisenzyme can dephosphorylate single and diphosphorylated synthetic MAPKpeptides, with preference for the phosphotyrosine and diphosphorylated formsover phosphothreonine. It is exclusively expressed in testis where ispreferentially dephosphorylates phosphotyrosine residues in MAPK peptides.
