Cat. No. : CHMP6-5589H
Description : CHMP6,as known as charged multivesicular body protein 6, belongs to the SNF7family. This Protein is core component of the endosomal sorting required fortransport complex III (ESCRT-III) which is involved in multivesicular bodies(MVBs) formation and sorting of endosomal cargo proteins into MVBs. MVBscontain intraluminal vesicles (ILVs) that are generated by invagination andscission from the limiting membrane of the endosome and mostly are deliveredto lysosomes enabling degradation of membrane proteins, such as stimulatedgrowth factor receptors, lysosomal enzymes and lipids.
Form : Liquid. In 20mMTris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) containing 2mM DTT, 10% glycerol, 100mM NaCl.
Molecular Weight : 26.1kDa(225aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appearhigher).
