Bio-activity : | Binding activity of Avidin-Biotin is 10-15 units/mg protein. One unit of Avidin activity is defined as the amount of protein which will bind 1 μg d-biotin. |
Applications : | Avidin-Biotin may be used in combination with biotin in various techniques such as ELISA, Western blotting, IHC etc. |
