• Antigen Description: Acrosomal protein SP-10, also known as Acrosomal vesicle protein 1 and ACRV1, is a testis-specific, differentiation antigen, that arises within the acrosomal vesicle during spermatogenesis, and is associated with the acrosomal membranes and matrix of mature sperm. Regulation of cell type-specific gene transcription is central to cellular differentiation and development. During spermatogenesis, a number of testis-specific genes are expressed in a precise spatiotemporal order. • Dilution: Western blot: This antibody can be used at 1 - 2 μg/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect Human ACRV1 in WB. Using a DAB detection system, the detection limit for Human ACRV1 is approximately 20 ng/lane under non-reducing conditions and reducing conditions.Direct ELISA: This antibody can be used at 0.5 - 1 μg with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect Human ACRV1. The detection limit for Human ACRV1 is approximately 0.0195 ng/well.
• Preparation: This antibody was produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, human cell-derived, recombinant Human ACRV1. The IgG fraction of the cell culture supernatant was purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
