Species : Human
Tag : Non
Description : TDG is a DNA glycosylase that removes T from the TG mismatch in DNA. Such mismatch can derive from deamination of methylated C in DNA. TDG is a mono functional glycosylase that leaves an intact AP site in DNA following its glycosylase action. In addition to T, U or ethenoC opposite G is also recognized by TDG.
Form : The protein is supplied in 20 mM sodium phosphate (pH 7.5), 150 mM NaCl, 5 mM β- mercaptoethanol, 10% glycerol.
