High Sensitivity Trypsin Activity Assay Kit (Fluorescent)
Cat.No. : | KITF-078 |
Product Overview : | Trypsin, a serine peptide chain endonuclease secreted by the pancreas, cleaves peptide bonds formed at the C-terminus of lysine and arginine. As an important digestive enzyme, Trypsin is widely used in various research fields such as enzymatic digestion/sequencing of proteins, digestion of tissues/cells, and production of insulin. Trypsin catalyzes the hydrolysis of a substrate to produce 7-amino-4-methylcoumarin (AMC), the product of which has a measurable fluorescence intensity at Ex/Em = 380/460 nm, and the activity of trypsin can be characterised by the change in fluorescence intensity (RFU). The kit can detect trypsin activity in samples and can also be used as an activity assessment of trypsin residues. Compared with the traditional BAEE method or TAME method to determine trypsin activity, this kit has higher detection sensitivity. |
