Protein Length : 20-237 a.a.
Description : Cxadr is a 46 kDatype I transmembrane glycoprotein that belongs to the CTX family of the Igsuperfamily. Cxadr has received attention as a receptor that facilitates genetransfer mediated by most adenoviruses. It is also an adhesion moleculewithin junctional complexes, notably between epithelial cells lining bodycavities and within myocardial intercalated discs.
Form : Lyophilized from a0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS.
N-terminal Sequence : Leu20
Molecular Weight : 51.2 kDa
Activity : Measured by theability of the immobilized protein to support the adhesion of humanneutrophils. When 2 x 105 cells/well are added to Cxadr coatedplates (10 μg/mL, 100 μL/well), approximately 40-60% of the cells will adhereafter 20 minutes at 37°C.
Endotoxin Level : <1.0 EU per 1 μgof the protein by the LAL method.
Purity : >95%,by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain.
Reconstitution : Reconstitute at 100 ug/mlin sterile PBS.
Storage : Use amanual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. 12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70°C as supplied. 1month, 2 to 8°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution. 3 months, -20 to-70°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
