Description : WNT4 is a 38-42kDamember of the Wnt family of secreted glycoproteins, which act as shortrange signalingmolecules via Frizzled receptors and a cascade of intracellular signals invertebrate embryogenesis. Human WNT4 is synthesized as a 351 amino acid (aa)precursor with a 22 aa signal sequence and a 329 aa mature chain. The maturechain contains two potential sites for Nlinked glycosylation. Relative toother members of the Wnt family, WNT4 contains 83 conserved aa, including 21cysteines.
Source : Chinese HamsterOvary cell line, CHO-derived.
Form : Lyophilized from a0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS, EDTA and CHAPS with BSA as a carrierprotein.
N-terminalSequence : Ser23
Molecular Weight : 39.1 kDa
Activity : Measured by itsability to induce alkaline phosphatase production by MC3T3E1 mouseosteoblastic cells. The typical ED50 for this effect is 25-100 ng/mL.
Endotoxin Level : < 1.0 EU per 1 μgof the protein by the LAL method.
SDS-PAGE : 42 - 80 kDa,reducing conditions.
Purity : > 60%, by SDSPAGEunder reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain.
Reconstitution : 50 μg/mL in PBS.
Storage : Use a manual defrostfreezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. 12 months from date of receipt,-20 to -70°C as supplied. 1 month, 2 to 8°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.3 months, -20 to -70°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
