Description : PIP4K2C (also known as phosphatidylinositol-5-phosphate 4-kinase, type II, gamma) is a member of the PIP kinase family that plays an important role in a wide variety of cell functions. PIP4K2C is found in the cytosol and surrounding plasma membrane and its presence in the endoplasmic reticulum seems to be a prerequisite for PIP2 synthesis. PIP4K2C play an important role in the production of phosphatidylinositol bisphosphate (PIP2) in the endoplasmic reticulum.
Form : Recombinant protein stored in 50mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 150mM NaCl, 10mM glutathione, 0.1mM EDTA, 0.25mM DTT, 0.1mM PMSF, 25% glycerol.
Bio-activity : 5 nmol/min/mg
Molecular Mass : ~75 kDa
Purity : >90% by densitometry
Applications : Kinase Assay; Western Blot
Storage : Store product at –70oC. For optimal storage, aliquot target into smaller quantities after centrifugation and store at recommended temperature. For most favorable performance, avoid repeated handling and multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
Concentration : 0.1μg/μl
