• Description: Interleukin-10 is produced by murine T-cells following their stimulation by lectins. The main source for B-cell-derived Interleukin-10 in mice are Ly-1 B-cells that express CD5 and CD11. Murine keratinocytes also produce IL10.
• Form: Lyopohilized from 10 mM NaP, pH 7.5.
• Purity: Purity Approximately 90% as determined by: Reducing and non-reducing SDS-PAGE.
• Bio-activity: Interleukin-10 is fully biologically active when compared to standard. The ED50 as determined by the dose-dependant stimulation of mouse MC-9 cells was found to be < 0.5 ng/ml, corresponding to a Specific Activity of 3 x 10⁶ IU/mg.
• Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered white lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
• Solubility: Centrifuge vial before opening. When reconstituting the product, gently pipet and wash down the sides of the vial to ensure full recovery of the protein into solution. It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized product with sterile water at a concentration of 0.1 mg"s/ml, which can be further diluted into other aqueous solutions.
