Description : | GPR115 is a member of the LN-7TM family of adhesion-type7-transmembrane (TM) G-protein coupled receptors (GPCR) that show a longextracellular N-terminus. The 695 amino acid (aa) human GPR115 sequencepredicts a 21 aa signal sequence, a 385 aa N-terminal extracellular domain(ECD), seven TM regions separated by 6-24 aa intracellular and extracellularregions, and a 40 aa cytoplasmic tail. Like other LN-7TM members, the ECDcontains a highly glycosylated mucin-like stalk that is predicted to functionin adhesion. This is followed by a cysteine-rich GPCR proteolytic cleavagesite (GPS). |
Form : | Lyophilized from a0.2 um filtered solution in PBS. |
N-terminalSequence : | Ser22 |
MolecularWeight : | 37 kDa |
Activity : | Measuredby the ability of the immobilized protein to support the adhesion of U-87 MGhuman glioblastoma/astrocytoma cells. When 5x104 cells per wellare added to rhGPR115 coated plates (5 μg/mL, 100 μL/well), approximately 60-85%will adhere after 60 minutes at 37°C. |
Endotoxin Level : | <1.0EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method. |
SDS-PAGE : | 66-100kDa, reducing conditions. |
Purity : | >90%,by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain. |
Reconstitution : | 200 μg/mLin sterile PBS |
Storage : | Use amanual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. 12 monthsfrom date of receipt, -20 to -70 °C as supplied. 1 month, 2 to 8 °C understerile conditions after reconstitution. 3 months, -20 to -70 °C understerile conditions after reconstitution. |
