• Bio-activity: Measured by the ability of the immobilized protein to support the adhesion of NIH-3T3 mouse embryonic fibroblast cells. When 5 × 10E4 cells/well areadded to EGFL6-His coated plates (5μg/mL and 100μL/well), approximately >40% will adhere specifically after 30 minutes at 37℃.
• Molecular Mass: The secreted recombinant human EGFL6 consists of 543 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 60.5 KDa. The apparent molecular mass of the protein is approximately 62 KDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions due to glycosylation.
• Endotoxin: < 1.0 EU per μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method
• Purity: > 60 % as determined by SDS-PAGE
• Storage: Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20°C to -80°C. Store it under sterile conditions at -20°C to -80°C. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
• Reconstitution: It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.2 ug/ul. Centrifuge the vial at 4°C before opening to recover the entire contents.
