Description : | Heat-labile UDG (Uracil DNA Glycosylase) can catalyze the hydrolysis of the N-glycosidic bond from deoxy uridine to release uracil in ssDNA and dsDNA. This product is sensitive to heat and the enzyme activity is irreversibly inactivated at temperature above 50 centigrade. It is suitable for PCR, qPCR, RT-PCR and RT-qPCR. It can also be used to remove aerosol contamination from dU-containing PCR products. |
Source : | E.coli |
Species : | Pschrophilic Marine Bacterium |
Bio-activity : | The specific activity of Heat-labile UDG was determined to be 1 Unit/μL. |
Unit Definition : | One unit (U) is defined as the amount of enzyme that releases 1 nmol of uracil from dU-containing DNA within 1h at 37 centigrade in the reaction system containing 70 mM of Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 10 mM of NaCl, 1 mM of EDTA, 100 μg/ml of BSA. |
Stability : | One year at -20 centigrade from date of shipment. |
Storage : | Store product at -20 centigrade. For optimal storage, aliquot target into smaller quantities after centrifugation and store at recommended temperature. For best performance, avoid repeated handling and multiple freeze/thaw cycles. |
Storage Buffer : | Recombinant protein stored in 20 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, 0.1 mM EDTA, 100 mM KCl, 1 mM DTT, 50% glycerol, 0.5% NP-40, 0.5% Tween-20. |
