Description : Canine CCL2is an 8 kDa member of the CC chemokine family of chemotactic factors. It issynthesized as a 101 amino acid (aa) precursor that contains a 23 aa signalsequence and a 78 aa mature segment. It contains no potential N-linked glycosylationsites and is not known for any posttranslational modifications.
Form : Lyophilizedfrom a 0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS with BSA as a carrier protein.
N-terminal Sequence : Noresults obtained: Gln24 predicted
Molecular Weight : 8.8 kDa
Activity : Measured by itsability to chemo-attract human CCR2A transected BaF3 Canine pro-B cells. TheED50 for this effect is typically 0.03-0.15 μg/mL.
Endotoxin Level : <1.0 EU per 1μgof the protein by the LAL method.
Purity : >95%,by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain.
Reconstitution : Reconstitute at 25 μg/mL insterile PBS that containing at least 0.1% human or bovine serum albumin.
Storage : Use amanual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. 12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70°C as supplied. 1 month,2 to 8 °C under sterile conditions after reconstitution. 3 months, -20 to -70°C under sterile conditions afterreconstitution.
