Description : Prostaticacid phosphatase (PAP), also prostatic specific acid phosphatase (PSAP), isan enzyme produced by the prostate. It may be found in increased amounts inmen who have prostate cancer or other diseases. The highest levels of acidphosphatase are found in metastasized prostate cancer.
