• Product Overview: Xylanase degrades xylan into reducing oligosaccharides and monosaccharides, which can undergo a color development reaction with 3,5-dinitrosalicylic acid (DNS) reagent under boiling water bath conditions. The depth of the reaction solution color is directly proportional to the amount of reducing sugars produced by enzymatic digestion, which in turn is directly proportional to the xylanase activity in the reaction solution. Therefore, by measuring the intensity of the reaction solution color, the xylanase activity in the reaction solution can be calculated.
