Description : DNA polymerase epsilon is a member of B family DNA polymerases. It is involved in DNA repair and chromosomal DNA replication. Mutations in this gene have recently been found associated with colorectal cancer.
Form : 50 mM Tris-HCl (pH7.5), 500 mM NaCl, and 10% glycerol.
Molecular Mass : 168 kDa
Usage : Suggested reaction buffer (not included): 50 mM Tris-HCl (pH7.4), 8 mM MgCl2, 1 mM DTT, 10% glycerol, 200 M dNTPs, 100 nM DNA primer-template, and, 2 nM -10nM pol epsilon.
Suggested dilution buffer (not included): 50 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 5 mM-mercaptoethanol, 50% glycerol.
Reaction temperature: 37 centigrade
Note: Reaction can be stopped by adding equal volume of 95% formamide.
Storage : Stable for 2 years at -70 centigrade from date of
shipment. Please aliquot to avoid repeated
freezing and thawing.
