• Description: Toxoplasma gondiiis an obligate intracellular protozoan parasite that infects all warmblooded animals, including humans, and causes toxoplasmosis. GRA7 is a recently discovered 29 kDa protein. Like GRA1, it is secreted from the dense granules, and it reacts with sera from humans with acute and chronic infections. The protein contains the p29 (GRA7) immunodominant regions, amino acids 24-100. The protein is purified by proprietary chromatographic technique.
