Description : Mouse platelet glycoprotein 4, also known as Leukocyte differentiation antigen CD36, GPIIIB, GP3B, FAT, and CD36, is integral membrane protein found on the surface of many cell types in vertebrate animals. It belongs to the CD36 family and is found on platelets, erythrocytes, monocytes, differentiated adipocytes, mammary epithelial cells, spleen cells and some skin microdermal endothelial cells. CD36 has also been implicated in hemostasis, thrombosis, malaria, inflammation, lipid metabolism and atherogenesis. CD36 seems to have numerous potential physiological functions. It binds to collagen, thrombospondin, anionic phospholipids and oxidized LDL.
Source : Human Cells.
Molecular Mass : The secreted recombinant mouse CD36 consists of 421 amino acids and has a calculated molecular mass of 47.8 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, the apparent molecular mass of rmCD36 is approximately 80-90 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Predicted N Terminal : Gly 30.
Purity : > 92 % as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation : Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4.
Endotoxin : < 1.0 EU per μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method.
Reconstitution : A hardcopy of COA with reconstitution instruction is sent along with the products. Please refer to it for detailed information.
Storage And Stability : Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -700C. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Protein length : 30-439 a.a.
