Description : Mouse Interleukin22, also known as T cell-derived inducible factor (ILTIF), is a cytokine thatis structurally related to IL10. Studies have shown that Il22 induces acute-phase reactants in vitro and in vivo, suggesting that the cytokine contributes to the regulation of inflammatoryresponses.
Form : Lyophilized from 10mM sodium citrate, pH 4.0.
Molecular Weight : 33.4 kDa
Purity : > 98% asdetermined by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analyses
Endotoxin Level : < 0.1 ng/µg ofIL22
Biological Activity : Recombinant mouseIL22 is fully biologically active when compared to a standard. The activityis determined by its ability to activiate STAT following receptor-ligandinteraction.
Reconstitution : Centrifuge vialprior to opening. First add sterile distilled water to the vial to fully solubilizethe protein to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. After completesolubilization of the protein, it can be further diluted to other aqueoussolutions.
Storage : Store lyophilizedprotein at -20°C to -80°C. Reconstituted protein is stable for 1 week at 2-4°C.For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C with a carrier protein(0.1% HAS or BSA) as a stabilizer. Please note that the addition of anycarrier protein into this product may produce unwanted endotoxin. Thisdepends upon the particular application employed. Avoid repeated freeze-thawcycles.
