Description : This gene encodes a mitochondrially-localized enzyme that acts as a hydrolase. The encoded protein removes glucuronide from mycophenolic acid acyl-glucuronide. There are two pseudogenes for this gene on chromosome 8. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
