Description : Class I viral fusion protein. Responsible for penetration of the virus into the cell cytoplasm by mediating the fusion of the membrane of the endocytosed virus particle with the endosomal membrane. Several trimers are required to form a competent fusion pore.
Form : 1 mg/mL in 50 mM Tris, 100 mM NaCl, 15% glycerol (w/v), pH 8.0, 0.2 μm filtered.
Purity : >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE
