Description : This gene encodes a member of the ubiquitin-specific processing (UBP) family of proteases that is a deubiquitinating enzyme (DUB) with His and Cys domains. This protein is located in the cytoplasm and cleaves the ubiquitin moiety from ubiquitin-fused precursors and ubiquitinylated proteins. The protein specifically deubiquitinates a protein in the Fanconi anemia (FA) DNA repair pathway. Alternate transcriptional splice variants have been characterized.
Molecular Mass : 88 kDa
Purity : >80% as determined by SDS-PAGE and Coomassie blue staining
Storage buffer : 25 mM Tris.HCl, pH 7.3, 100 mM glycine, 10% glycerol.
Concentration : >50 ug/mL as determined by microplate BCA method
Storage : Store at -80C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Stable for at least 3 months from receipt of products under proper storage and handling conditions.
