Species : Human
Source : HEK293
Tag : Fc
ProteinLength : 30-194 a.a.
Description : Transmembrane emp24 domain-containing protein 4 ( TMED4) is also known as Endoplasmic reticulum stress-response protein 25 (ERS25), GMP25iso, p24 family protein alpha-3 (p24alpha3), which belongs to the EMP24/GP25L family. TMED4 is involved in vesicular protein trafficking, mainly in the early secretory pathway. TMED4 appears to play a role in the biosynthesis of secreted cargo including processing. TMED4 is also involved in endoplasmic reticulum stress response, and may play a role in the regulation of heat-shock response and apoptosis.
Form : Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in 50 mM tris, 100 mM glycine, pH7.5. Normally Mannitol or Trehalose are added as protectants before lyophilization.
Molecular Mass : rh TMED4 / ERS25 Fc Chimera is fused with a human IgG1 Fc tag at the C-terminus, and has a calculated MW of 45.9 kDa. The predicted N-terminus is Leu 30. DTT-reduced Protein migrates as 48 kDa in SDS-PAGE due to glycosylation.
Endotoxin : Less than 1.0 EU per μg of the rh TMED4 / ERS25 Fc Chimera by the LAL method.
Purity : >92% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Storage : Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. No activity loss was observed after storage at:In lyophilized state for 1 year (4oC); After reconstitution under sterile conditions for 3 months (-70oC).
Reconstitution : See Certificate of Analysis for reconstitution instructions and specific concentrations.
