Description : NFATC1 is a member of the NFATfamily of proteins which are Ca2+/calcineurin-responsivetranscription factors primarily recognized for their central roles in Tlymphocyte activation and cardiac valve development. NFAT consists of atleast two components: a preexisting cytosolic component that translocates tothe nucleus upon T-cell receptor (TCR) stimulation, and an inducible nuclearcomponent.
Form : Carrier-free liquid.
Molecular Weight : 35 kDa(migrates at ~ 48 kDa on SDS-PAGE gel)
Purity : 95% asdetermined by SDS-PAGE analysis
Biological Activity : Recombinanthuman NFATC1 is phosphorylatable in vitro, using recombinant GSK3 and PKA. Optimization of the cell stimulationprotocol, cell lysis procedure, and reaction conditions may be required foreach specific application.
storage : Store at2-4°C for short term storage. Stable for 1 year in working aliquots at -20°C.Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
OfficialSymbol : NFATC1
