Description : NPPC is proteolytically processed to form a secreted hormone of the natriuretic peptide family. The hormone regulates the growth and differentiation of cartilaginous growth plate chondrocytes and may also be vasoactive and natriuretic. Recombinant human NPPC protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
