• Description: LCAT is an extracellular cholesterol esterifying enzyme, lecithin-cholesterol acyltransferase. The esterification of cholesterol is required for cholesterol transport. LCAT is a essential enzyme in the extracellular metabolism of plasma lipoproteins.

• Storage: Lyophilized LCAT although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C.
