Description : Junctional adhesion molecule B (JAM-B) is also known as Junctional adhesion molecule 2 (JAM-2), Vascular endothelial junction-associated molecule (VE-JAM), CD antigen CD322, which belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily. JAM-B contains one Ig-like C2-type (immunoglobulin-like) domain and one Ig-like V-type (immunoglobulin-like) domain. JAM-B is highest expression in the heart, placenta, lung, foreskin and lymph node. JAM-B may play a role in the processes of lymphocyte homing to secondary lymphoid organs.
Form : Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in 50 mM tris, 100 mM glycine, pH7.5. Normally Mannitol or Trehalose are added as protectants before lyophilization.
Molecular Mass : rh JAM2 / CD322 Fc Chimera is fused with human IgG1 Fc tag at the C-terminus, and has a calculated MW of 50 kDa. The predicted N-terminus is Phe 29. DTT-reduced Protein migrates as 60-68 kDa in SDS-PAGE due to glycosylation.
Endotoxin : Less than 1.0 EU per μg of the rh JAM2 / CD322 Fc Chimera by the LAL method.
Purity : >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Storage : Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.No activity loss was observed after storage at:In lyophilized state for 1 year (4oC); After reconstitution under sterile conditions for 3 months (-70oC).
