Description : FGFs comprise a family of atleast eighteen structurally realted proteins that are involved in a multitudeof physiological and pathological cellular processes, including cell growth, differentation, angiogenesis, wound healing and tumorgenesis. The biologicalactivities of the FGFs are mediated by a family if type I transmembranetyrosine kinases which undergo dimerization and autophosphorylation afterligand binding.

Molecular Weight : 50.4 kDa
Purity : ≥ 90% as determinedby SDS-PAGE analysis
Specific Activity : 620 nmoleof phosphate transferred to poly [Glu,Tyr] 4:1 substrate per minute per mg of totalprotein at 30°C. Activity determined at a final protein concentration of 2μg/ml.
