• Description: Fibroblast growth factor receptor 5 (FGFR-5) is also known as Fibroblast growth factor receptor-like 1 (FGFRL1), FGF homologous factor receptor (FHFR), is a single-pass type I membrane protein. FGFRL1/FGFR5 contains three Ig-like C2-type (immunoglobulin-like) domains. FGFR-5 is expressed preferentially in cartilaginous tissues and pancreas and highly expressed in the liver, kidney, heart, brain and skeletal muscle. FGFRL1/FGFR5 has a negative effect on cell proliferation. FGFR5 interacts with FGF2 with a low affinity.
• Form: Lyophilized from 0.22 um filtered solution in 50 mM Tris, 100 mM Glycine, pH7.5, 10% trehalose.
• Molecular Mass: The protein has a calculated MW of 65.5 kDa. The protein migrates as 85-95 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.
• Endotoxin: Less than 1.0 EU per ug by the LAL method.

• Storage: For long term storage, the product should be stored at lyophilized state at -20 centigrade or lower.

• Reconstitution: It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.2 ug/ul. Centrifuge the vial at 4℃ before opening to recover the entire contents.
