Description : FOS is a member of the FOS gene family that consists of 4 members: FOS, FOSB, FOSL1, and FOSL2. FOS gene encodes a leucine zipper protein that can dimerize with proteins of the JUN family, thereby forming the transcription factor complex AP-1. FOS proteins have been implicated as regulators of cell proliferation, differentiation, and transformation. In some cases, expression of the FOS gene has also been associated with apoptotic cell death.
Applications : Kinase Assay; Western Blot
Molecular Weight : 78 kDa
Expression System : Sf9 insect cells using baculovirus
Form : Recombinant protein stored in 50 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 150 mM NaCl, 10 mM glutathione, 0.1 mM EDTA, 0.25 mM DTT, 0.1 mM PMSF, 25% glycerol.
Purity : > 90%
