Description : C5AR1 complement activation from the a-chain of complement C5. C5AR1 is a potent chemotactic factor for human peripheral blood neutrophils and monocytes, and is believed to play an important role in a number of inflammatory conditions. The 74 amino acid, C5AR1 protein expressed in E. coli with a 6 amino acid, N-terminal His·Tag sequence and 28 amino acid proprietary vector sequence necessary for expression.
Biological Activity : Human recombinant C5AR1 is as active as that of serum derived C5AR1 based on enzyme release assay of myeloperoxidase. The current lot of EDS25;S20; = 1.36 nmolar.
Molecular Weight : 74 amino acids
Source : E. coli
Species : Human
Form : Lyophilized with no additives.
Appearance : Lyophilized protein
Endotoxin Level : <0.1 ng/μg
Reconstitution : Reconstitute to a concentration of 1.0 mg/ml in ice-cold water containing 2.5 mg/ml BSA. The solution should be aliquoted and immediately stored at -70°C for future use. Frozen/thaw will result in some loss of activity.
