• Description: C1QTNF3 also called Cartducin is a novel angiogenic factor in the formation of neointima following angioplasty. C1QTNF3 a paralog of Acrp30 (adiponectin). C1QTNF3 is a secretory protein produced by chondrogenic precursors & proliferating chondrocytes, and belongs to a novel C1q family of proteins. Cartducin promotes the growth of mesenchymal chondroprogenitor cells & chondrosarcoma-derived chondrocytic cells in vitro. Cartducin stimulates mesenchymal chondroprogenitor cell proliferation through extracellular signal-regulated kinase and phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase/Akt pathways. C1QTNF3 promotes proliferation & the migration of endothelial cells.
• Form: Human C1QTNF3 was filtered (0.4?m) and lyophilized in 0.5 mg/ml in 0.05M Acetate buffer pH4.
• Purity: The purity of C1QTNF3 is greater than 95% as determined by SDS PAGE.
• Solubility: It is recommended to add 0.1M Acetate buffer pH4 to prepare a working stock solution of approximately 0.5 mg/ml and let the lyophilized pellet dissolve completely. For conversion into higher pH value, we recommend intensive dilution by relevant buffer to a concentration of 10?g/ml. In higher concentrations the solubility of the protein is limited. Product is not sterile! Please filter the product by an appropriate sterile filter before using it in the cell culture.

• Storage: Store lyophilized C1QTNF3 at -20°C. Aliquot the product after reconstitution to avoid repeated freezing/thawing cycles.
