Cat. No. : | BCL2-5289H |
Description : | Recombinantfull length human BCL2 is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chaincontaining amino acids 1-206. The wild type BCL2 is missing 12 amino acidsfrom the C-terminus. The C-terminus is fused to a His-Tag. The C-terminushis-tag mimics the deleted C-terminus membrane domain thus maintaining itsbiological activity. |
Source : | E. coli |
Species : | Human |
Form : | Lyophilized from asterile filtered solution containing 10 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0 + 1 mM EDTA + 250mM NaCl. |
Purity : | > 95% asdetermined by RP-HPLC and SDS-PAGE analyses. |
Endotoxin Level : | < 0.1 ng/µg ofBCL2 |
Reconstitution : | Centrifuge vialprior to opening. Suspend BCL2 in 100 µl of 0.5M Acetic acid, overnight at 2-4°C. Dilute 10 fold into selected buffer system. Because BCL2 hasa tendency to form intramolecular disulfide bond, 5 mM DTT is recommended inassay buffer. When running SDS-PAGE gel, 10 mM DTT is recommended. |
Storage : | Store lyophilizedprotein at -20°C to -80°C. Reconstituted protein is stable for 1 week at2-4°C. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C to -80°C with acarrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) as a stabilizer. Please note that theaddition of any carrier protein into this product may produce unwantedendotoxin. This depends upon the particular application employed. Avoidrepeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
