• Antigen Description: kallikrein-related peptidase 11 (KLK11), also known as hippostasin, trypsin-like serine protease and PRSS20, is a member of human tissue kallikrein family. It is a subgroup of serine proteases with diverse physiological functions, which is implicated in carcinogenesis and some with potential that serving as novel biomarkers for ovarian and prostate cancer and other diseases. The KLK11 gene is one of the fifteen kallikrein subfamily members located in a cluster on chromosome 19. Two alternatively spliced forms exist, resulting in 250 (isoform 1) and 282 (isoform 2) amino acid sequences. Isoform 2 is identical to isoform 1, except for an inserted 32 amino acid segment. Isoform 1 is predominantly expressed in brain whereas isoform 2 is preferentially expressed in prostate.

• Dilution: Western blot: This antibody can be used at 1-2 μg/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect Human KLK11 in WB. Using a DAB detection system, the detection limit for Human KLK11 is approximately 4 ng/lane under non-reducing conditions and 2 ng/lane under reducing conditions.Direct ELISA: This antibody can be used at 0.5-1 μg with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect Human KLK11. The detection limit for Human KLK11 is approximately 0.16 ng/well.
• Preparation: This antibody was produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, human cell-derived, recombinant Human KLK11 / Kallikrein 11 (rh KLK11 / Kallikrein 11; Met 1 - Asn 250; NP_006844.1). The IgG fraction of the cell culture supernatant was purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.

• Storage: This antibody can be stored at 2-8 °C for one month without detectable loss of activity. Antibody products are stable for twelve months from date of receipt when stored at -20 to -70 °C.
