Species : Human
Source : Mouse
Tag : Non
Antigen Dscription : This gene encodes a member of the ADAM (a disintegrin and metalloprotease) protein family. Members of this family are membrane-anchored proteins structurally related to snake venom disintegrins, and have been implicated in a variety of biological processes involving cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions, including fertilization, muscle development, and neurogenesis. This gene has two alternatively spliced transcripts: a shorter secreted form and a longer membrane-bound form. The shorter form is found to stimulate myogenesis.
Host Animal : Mouse
Species Reactivity : Human
Immunogen : A recombinant polypeptide corresponding to amino acids 208-305 of human ADAM12, expressed as a GST fusion protein.
Clone : 2H4
Isotype : IgG3
Format : Purified
Presentation : Liquid; In PBS, pH 7.2, containing no preservative.
Applications : ELISA (this antibody can be used as the capture antibody; recommended concentration is 10 ng/ml, 1 μg/well, 100 μl total volume. Variables associated with assay conditions will dictate the proper working dilution); Immunoblotting (1-5 μg/ml).
Storage : Following initial thaw, aliquot and freeze (-20°C). Avoid repeated freeze-thaw.
Officialsymbol : ADAM12
