• Antigen Description: Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) nuclear antigen 1 (EBNA1) is an EBV antigen that is expressed in all EBV-associated malignancies. EBNA1 is known to be required for maintenance of the EBV episome, and is expressed in all forms of EBV latency. Thus, EBNA1 is supposed to play a central role in the maintenance and segregation of the episomal latent EBV genome.
• Immunogen: Recombinant human EBNA1 (459-641aa) purified from E. coli.

• Clone: Anti-EBNA1 mAb, clone 1B5, is derived from hybridization of mouse SP2/O myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with recombinant Epstein-Barr virus nuclear antigen 1 protein.
• Concentration: 1mg/ml.
• Form: Liquid. Supplied in Phosphate-Buffered Saline (pH 7.4) with 0.1% Sodium Azide.
• Storage: Can be stored at +4°C short term (1-2 weeks). For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or -70°C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
• Usage: The antibody has been tested by ELISA and Western blot analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis is 1:500 ~1:1000. Recommended starting dilution is 1:1000.
• Application: ELISA, WB.
• Western Blot Analysis: Cell lysates of B95-8, JiJoye and BJAB (each 20μg) were resolved by 8% SDS-PAGE, transferred to PVDF membrane and probed with anti-EBNA 1 (1:1000).
