• Description: The G9a Homogeneous Assay Kit is designed to measure the activity of G9a (also known as EHMT2 or KMT1C) for screening and profiling applications, using AlphaLISA technology. The key to the G9a Homogeneous Assay Kit is a highly specific antibody that recognizes methylated substrate. With this kit, only three simple steps on a microtiter plate are required for methyltransferase detection. First, a sample containing G9a enzyme is incubated with the biotinylated substrate for one hour. Next, acceptor beads and primary antibody are added, then donor beads, followed by reading the Alpha-counts.
• Applications: Great for studying enzyme kinetics and screening small molecular inhibitors for drug discovery and HTS applications.
• Storage: 12 months from date of receipt, when stored as directed. Kit components require different storage conditions. Be sure to store each component at the proper temperature upon arrival.
