• Product Overview: Firefly luciferase can catalyze luciferin to form oxyluciferin and produce bioluminescence. Renila luciferase can oxidize coelenterazine to form coelenteramide and produces bioluminescence. Double-Luciferase Reporter Assay Kit is designed to detect the double luciferase in the cells. In the first, firefly luciferase reporter gene activity will be analyzed in the presence of fluorescein. And then quench the fluorescence signal while adding the coelenterazine substrate to activate the activity of Renilla luciferase. "Dual reporter genes" are used to improve experimental accuracy and detect two independent reporter genes in a single system. It has the characteristics of rapid detection, high sensitivity, wide detection range and no interference from intracellular activity.
