• Product Overview: DNA pull down technique is a powerful tool to study the interaction between DNA and protein in vitro. In this technology, specific DNA probes are designed for the target region and the DNA probe is labeled with biotin. The biotin labeled probes can bind to the magnetic beads coupled with streptavidin. With incubating with total protein extracts, the DNA-binding proteins can bind specifically to the DNA probes to form magnetic bead-DNA probe-protein complexes. The non-specific proteins are washed away, and then the target DNA probe-protein complex was obtained by elution. Finally, the protein type is identified by Western Blot or mass spectrometry (MS). In contrast to the DNA pull-down Kit for animal, this kit covers special plant lysis buffer and is primarily used to study plant protein-DNA interactions
