ProductOverview : | GoldenNuclease is a recombinant form of Serratia macescens extracellularendonuclease (encoded by the same gene of Benzonase) produced in Escherichiacoli cells. |
Description : | GoldenNuclease is a recombinant form of Serratia macescens extracellularendonuclease (encoded by the same gene of Benzonase) produced in E. coliusing a proprietary process. This nonspecific endonuclease hydrolyzes bothsingle- and double-stranded nucleic acids (DNA and RNA) to 5"-phosphorylatedoligonucleotides of 1-4 bases in length. TurboNuclease is a highly purifiedhomodimer of 27 kDa subunits that has exceptional high specific activity andis free of protease activity. It is ideal to digest nucleic acids and toreduce viscosity during protein purification and sample preparation. |
Biochem/physiolActions : | Digests native or heat-denatured DNA and RNA. |
Formulation : | Solutionin 50% glycerol containing 20 mM Tris HCl, pH 8.0, 2 mM MgCl2, and 20 mMNaCl. |
Application : | Usedfor the removal of nucleic acid from protein samples; Viscosity reduction inprotein extracts. |
UnitDefinition : | One unit will digest sonicated salmon sperm DNA toacid-soluble oligonucleotides equivalent to a ΔA260 of 1.0 in 30 min at pH8.0 at 37 ℃(reaction volume 2.625 ml). |
Concentration : | >250units/μL |
Storage : | Storeat -20℃ upon received. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
