• Product Overview: Co-Immunoprecipitation is a method for studying protein-protein interactionsthe, which use of the specific interaction between antigen and antibody as the basis for precipitation. The antibody binds to the corresponding protein in the lysate and they are then incubated with ProteinA/G coupled Sepharose or MagneticBeads, the antigen-antibody complexs are collected by centrifugation or with the help of magnetic racks. ProteinA/G magnetic bead-antibody - target protein complexs are obtained, and the antigen and antibody is dissociated under the action of high temperature and reducing agent. The supernatant, which includes antibody, target protein and a small amount of miscellaneous protein, is collected and then analyzed by Western Blot (WB) or mass spectrometry (MS) to identifiy the proteins. In contrast to the Co-IP Kit for animal, this kit covers special plant lysis buffer and is primarily used to study plant protein interactions
