Bradford Protein Quantification Kit

Cat.No. : PQT-002
Product Overview : The Bradford method is one of the most sensitive protein assays available. When the Bradford stain (Kaomas Brilliant Blue G250) and the protein are combined under acidic conditions, the color of the solution changes from brownish black to blue, and the wavelength of the maximum absorbance value changes from 456nm to 595 nm. There is a good linear relationship between the absorbance value and the protein content within a certain concentration range, and the protein concentration is deduced by measuring the absorbance value and comparing it with the absorbance value of the standard protein. It is a fast, stable, and highly sensitive method for the determination of protein concentration. The Bradford staining solution is a 2-fold concentrated masterbatch, which is easy to store.

Usage : 1. The Bradford method is sensitive to detergents and is affected by high concentrations of detergents. It is necessary to ensure that SDS is below 0.1%, Triton X-100 below 0.1%, and Tween 20, 60, and 80 below 0.06%.
2. Mix the staining solution before use.
3. Allow the G250 staining solution to come to room temperature before use to improve the sensitivity of the assay.
Shelf-life : 1 year
Storage : 2-8℃
Notes : 1. Protein standards take care to prevent microbial contamination. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
2. Protein standards can be dispensed and frozen as needed.
3. Please use the reagents as soon as possible after unpacking.
